I don't know what you guys do on your free time, movies, whatever. But I work on cars and what not.

A few days ago I bought this Mitsubishi 3000GT; it's a 1994' 2D. Runs perfectly fine with 75K miles and what not.

Just last night I finished installing twin turbo, 18' inch wheels and the neon lights. I'm looking for something more powerful that can boost this baby up to the racing level.

Money is no issue, so just shoot it at me and let me know.

ps. yeah i added a new air intake system.

I bought a Level 2 Supercharger for my '04 Eclipse Spyder along with a cold air intake, bigger manifold and new exhaust, I will also have to mod the ECU when I get around to installing all this stuff.

This should bump me up to around 320 -  340 ponies when it is all installed.

The site I purchased my stuff from seems to be gone, but I did find another site that looks promising.

Good luck and let us know how things work out, those 3000 GT's are pretty quick to begin with and handle fabulously.

Nice hobby Steve411, I wish I was allowed to legally drive. Tongue Out

My suggestion for sound is: [Link]

I think Nitrous Oxide would be very cool to have, as well as good for performance.

Maybe get this wheels: [Link]

I think the Mitsubishi 3000GT is a nice car to start with, don't forget to show us the results, I will be interesting to see your final choices.

Don't touch that mustard. It's Jerry and Bills.

Try and get some fuel from the airport. 120 or 130 octane will give a good boost too...

carbon fiber brake disks (lowers the weight)
induction kit (K&N Filters)
Straight Stainless Steel Exhaust from Manifold to back box (hear the roar)
high performance crank
skim the piston heads (grind a bit of the top of them)

thats all i can think of at the min

Ok, if that's all the suggestions, this is what im gonna do :

Carbon fiber brake disks
I definately need this.

You want Carbon-Ceramic disks, not the carbon-carbon ones, they don't work very well at low temps!

Er, why do you definitely need this?

You can lower unsprung weight without crazy expensive steps. (But why bother when you haven't even listed suspension upgrades?)

Wait, I see you've installed neon lights... maybe this discussion isn't about performance enhancements. My mistake.

Thanks phase. Also everyone else for your suggestions; ill let you all know what happens in a while when i get all this.

I'm going to install each part one by one, not all in the same week, might take a month or so to complete; but i want this to be perfect and not rush into it.

If money is no issue, why didn't you get the VR-4 version? That's a way better tuning platform of the 3000GT.

I want a car... gotta work for the money first.  I don't want to buy something without a decent down payment because otherwise monthly charges and interest will get too high.
isn't the 3000GT pretty much the Dodge Stealth?

In the old days, the Stealth was the GT, not the other way around, and the stealth didn't offer everything the 3000 GT did.

Nowadays, I believe the Stealth is very similar to the Eclipse.

If you open the drivers door on a stealth, you will see a sticker that says Manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors LTD
