Something is definitely wrong with MAX. It started as a promising showcase for WPF, but then there were no upgrades for several months, major milestones of WinFX were not supported and now the latest version doesn't even run on Vista RC1.

It runs on the most current major milestone of WinFX. Why should they support Vista when Vista's WinFX doesn't represent the final, stable API (which WinFX RC1 does, because they've released it with a GoLive license)?

Seems pretty cool, its ages since I've run it since it has been 2-3 CTPs behind since January.

The text display in the News reading view is incredibly clear. Its a shame you can only read a short snippit of the feed content in the Newspaper view and have to open it up in a browser to get the rest.

Anyone got any lists they want to share?

The .NET Framework 3.0 build number in Vista RC1 is even more recent than that of .NET Framework 3.0 RC1 for XP SP2. And the Windows SDK RC1 is compatible with both Vista RC1 and XP SP2. So it's not clear to me why the latest MAX version shouldn't be compatible with both platforms.
