wasn't the only one who didn't like the ads. As it turns out, most people ended up liking the PC guy more.
No word on if they will keep the same format for the commercials and just replace him with somebody who doesn't come off as a
self important egotistical metrosexual trend following* jerk, or just come up with a compeletely new idea.

Well.
Good.
I love Apple, and those ads were the first that made me start to think the Cupertinans were drinking a little too much of the Apple Juice.
Your average Mac user is bad enough. We had 'em down in Portland - hunched over their little white laptops with their hoods up, sipping 20oz mochafrappalattiachios, thinking that anyone who consumes less than 97 shots of espresso a day is a weenie, talking about performance "art," pushing their horn-rimmed glasses up the bridges of their noses, getting "tatts," and otherwise exhibiting the most irritating qualities of their respective generations.
BAD EGGS! ALL OF 'EM!
Once Apple started to adopt that image with these ads, it was tummy-turning.
I don't mind funny - and I don't mind it if they want to make fun of us - but if they can't actually
be funny while doing it, and if they can't do it without punching below the belt, then they shouldn't be doing it at all.
