What build have you downloaded? Is Vista 6000 already on MSDN?

.
Just use a program such as DeepBurner, and go to "Burn Bootable ISO Image", or something like that. Just select the *.iso file, and you should be able to boot with it.

Just burn the whole ISO file to disc (using Nero, Roxio, cdrecord, or your choice of cd burning program).  Your cd burner will know what to do with it.

I don't think it corrupted during the upgrade process, I think he was running a computer without any user accounts other than Administrator.  I suppose Vista doesn't allow the Administrator account to log on locally in a non-domain environment.

I think he must have gone into Local Users and Groups and deleted the account XP setup made for him, because you can't delete the last account in the XP User Accounts applet.

Schrage--

If you boot from the Vista disc, you should be able to access the recovery console.  From there you may be able to create an account you can log in to (I don't have a reference available to the commands that work at the recovery console).  If you REALLY insist on running under the Administrator account, you could probably permit logon locally for the Administrator account in the Local Security Settings applet.
