Always in motion the future is..
Ok, so, I've been hearing about this "Second Life".  What the heck is it?  I go to the website and see.  Wow, interesting.  A virtual world! I get excited.  I find that channel 9 has a lil island as well.  Ok, even a bit more excited.

I go to install the app. It installs.  I try and run it.  I find out my card is "not" supported.  Yeah, I know I should have read the "requirements".  I figured, if I can play Dungeon Siege and Dungeon Siege II, this would work just fine right?  nope.  Grr.  *Depression sets in*

This is just one more thing to add to the ever growing list of things I cannot run or use because of my graphics card. Pfft.  I think its time to go "upgrade" my card.  Not an easy thing to do with a very limited budget.  Maybe I'll get lucky and santa will get me one for Christmas this year.

So.. it being Christmas and all, would anyone like to make my day? Smiley (Hey, never hurts to ask right?) hehe.

If you stumbled and fell down, it doesn't mean yet, that you're going in the wrong direction.
What card do you have?
ATI RADEON 7000? GeForce Riva TNT 32? Voodoo 3dfx "whatever"? Ancient S3 with 512K VRAM? Wothless Intel?

Anyway. Second Life is sickness. Sort of cancer.

And so the world ends. Not with a bang, but with a whimper.
Blame ATI, their drivers doesn't support OpenGL yet. Same problem here with an X1300 and opengl apps.

W-hat?
You're not missing anything. If ghost towns with mildly artistic architecture or populated sex areas interest you, this game is for you, otherwise, it's just overhyped crap that will make your graphics card weep (shitty graphics at 15fps average on a NV 7800GT? Hell yeah.)
