dont think you can, not 100% sure to be honest.

I am in the insurance business at the moment. Was in Retail for a while doing testing on Point Of Sale systems. I enjoy it fine but some days just drag in when things are broken or the tester gets the blame for a delay in a release when its really the developers fault.

thats very true man... testers being blamed for relase delay... developers say their job is more tough and we just question and make things look complicated.. i still love the job.. i question and get people in trouble hahaha Smiley

i say nothing and just tear on, cant be bothered to listen to some of the developers in this company, they have there heads so far up in the air its a joke

LOL i wish some developers join this conversation and heat up.. hahaha... thing is they dont really understand how serious our work is, anything wrong in software after the product is despatched to customers place, it is testers who is questioned about the fault not developers... apart from that.. i think this kind of debate is healthy between developer and testers only thing is it should be in limit... i really wish some group like C9 and other forums for Software testing, most of them discuss about job interview questions..

its not that hard to set up a message board for testers/QA Engineers but i dont see it getting much use to be honest. i could deploy a forum onto my site within the hour. (Thanks for you comment on my site, its still work in progress)

I am also a developer and i know what its like on both sides. Testers can over look thing just as easy as a developer can. But testers use test cases etc sticking to them may not uncover certain issues that an everyday user would encounter but than again a developer shud be better at coding.

Its hard to debate this i think as both sides have there points, some of which are weak and stong.
