AH!

Are all the Technical Beta testers for Micorosft Office 2007 aware that they will NOT be recieving the full version! I contributed about 200 bugs to the teams and still... no Office!

I email customer support... and come on Micorosft, your customer support guys treated me like I was some idiot and that I don't deserve crap for my service to the company! Mad

Oh... I forgot... their going to send a stupid knick nack!

OK... does this seem unjust to you?

If you stumbled and fell down, it doesn't mean yet, that you're going in the wrong direction.
If I remember properly, nobody promised Office2007 for testers. Vista Ultimate only was promised to the testers, who submitted al least 1 bug.

Ah the sense of entitlement. I feel sorry for the office team, or the team behind the give away of vista and office.

But not for the teams that make cool give aways US only Big Smile

W-hat?
Wait for the official shelf date, if they don't announce anything within a week past it, it's no gift for you.

And I'm sure that the Top 60 drama of the Office 2003 beta spoiled their generousity.

This isnt unjust at all. You had a chance play with, and if you chose to, test the next version of Office before anyone else. When you signed up for the beta Microsoft never advertised 'Free copy of Office 2007 to all testers!'.

I think the privlidge of being able to test the product and influence it's development is more than enough compensation, however thats not to say I wasnt thrilled to see a free copy of Vista show up in my inbox.

And who says you're *not* a random joe off the internet exactly? If you got it through connect then maybe you might have a point.

They are appreciating... Smiley
Beta testing software is a privilege for you to see next gen software before general availability. They don't owe you $400-$500 worth of software for it.
