Wow, that's one ugly phone Smiley  No comment on it's tech, but it look like some army reject to me.

It doesn't look bad, probably it's because the photo is a bit distorted.

Here's a better version of that photo:

Looks a bit better, but IMO it would look better with a few curves and the screen should blend seamlessly with the frame....
That phone looks pretty cheap. The joystick at the bottom looks like a lego piece that could just snap off.

That's good then no one will steal it.

Sorry, but I got to agree it is butt-ugly.

Love my pretty A900.  Sprint offered it to me for FREE when I tried to pay to cancel my contract, but after having it would gladly pay for it.

It's also MUCH prettier than an iPhone and also NOT a Religious icon so I don't have to worry about Steve Jobs sending me to Hell for doing anything sacreligeous in front of it; like using OH NOES!!1!1! using a a Vista PC while talking on my cell.

As far as I'm concerned these phones are just too expensive and out of reach to the typical consumer, at least where I live.

The coolest phone I've see people walking around with here is a Razr v3; I have a crappy Motorola V262.

The only people that might get an iPhone or one of these $400+ smart phones/PDA are the buisness executives, CEOs, and movie stars.

Either that or someone who is reckless on financies... like one of my Uncles.

If you stumbled and fell down, it doesn't mean yet, that you're going in the wrong direction.
Design is awful... Like Zune's... Cool

Ack, ack......A900 WAY prettier, smaller and FAR more capable than a Razr!

BTW: My A900 was $400 the week that I tried to pay off my Sprint Contract and about the 2nd week it was available........  Now new sign-ups can get for about $100.

ANY phone that is NOT a religious Icon can be had for a reasonable price a month or 2 after intro.

Seriously? You think that is an iPhone killer - even though the iPhone is still months away and that looks pretty bad? I use WinMo a lot - and I still prefer the vaporous screen-shot UI I've seen on the iPhone.

What it the fascination with iPod/iPhone killer that everyone has? Why is Microsoft so intent on being in *every* market? And why do I get the feeling cescotto is about 14?

Aw man... the Zune might not be my first choice DAP player (mostly because it doesn't support Divx, XVvid like Vision:M) but I love the design.  Looks great and breaks away from the typical DAP design with a sexy scratch resistant, double shot effect, semi transparent surface.  Not to mention it has a huge screen and great interface.

This "iPhone killer" though... it does look a little cheap.

It finds lightbulbs.
This phone rivals the NGage in ugliness. I'm sort of interested in that new touch screen technology, though.
Gotta love the spammers.

Nothing will kill the iPhone. Ever. And we all know it. It's like we know nothing will kill the iPod, for many years to come.

The iPhone isn't even out yet. It hasn't even been born, and we're talking about iPhone killers?

I figured the Sony 950i or whatever it was called is a bit of an iPhone killer already, and that's been available for months.

I was looking at Nokia N95's yesterday... and to me, they're not all that dandy. I reckon I'll stick to Treos Smiley
When folk say 'iPhone killer' does that mean 'killer' as in features, or 'killer as in sales?

Killer as in "everyone can shut the heck up about the iPhone now."

Actually when you are not using it it stalks the streets hunting down iPhones... :o

When it finds them it probably kills them through aesthetic shock.

the iPhone looks amazing, and it probably feels amazing in the palm of your hand, too. It's sleek, curvy, shiny, and sexy, with on-screen icons and buttons that just ooze and drip class.
