"We're in private betas right now" confirmed Sheridan Jones, Lead Marketing Manager for Microsoft's Mac Business Unit (MacBU), during an exclusive interview with APC magazine.

How can I get in on those "private betas"? Anyone from MacBU here?

Microsoft wouldn't alienate their Mac users like that, upgraders are a key component of buyers, especially in education.

I don't think there's anything specific to Tiger/Leopard or the Intel processors that Office 2008 needs.
