So I got a Dell advertisement in my inbox today and something just didnt look right to me. Can anyone else spot the three things that are wrong with this pic from the Dell advertisement?

Granted the average joe wont see anything wrong with this image, but we're geeks, this is what we do.

Missed it by that much...
Dell is notorious for LED overusage, since I dont see one, i'm gonna go with:

1) System is not powered (no LED)
2) Monitor is being powered and is recieving signal by John Edwards Super Mental Powers! (no LED, no signal cable)

two is really a two parter, so theres my three

EDIT: <looks at your pic> Nice Rack Wink

That's a really bad Photoshop job.

The taskbar is the wrong size and cut off on the top bottom and right end.

There's an additional bit of another taskbar below the pasted in Start Menu.

There's a big honkin white border around the WMP window.

I hope someone didn't get paid for that.

excuse me - do you has a flavor?
1. Theres no icon on the bottom bar for windows media player
2. The clock is gone
3. The bar next to the watch, where messenger docks, etc, isnt there either!
4. The WMP looks to have XP silver skin.

No system tray
  1. No System Tray
  2. No Aero
  3. Account picture on start menu should be half on start menu and sitting up above half (Click the Orb)

.
I would say that the main issue is that there is no notification area and that Windows Media Player has no place in the taskbar. The start menu also looks wrong (the bottom bit of it looks like it was cut rather crudely from a screenshot and then pasted onto an old image of the monitor).

Whats wrong with the wallpaper? People might use custom wallpapers.

Yet its quite high quallity. So i might even think that it ships with Windows Vista for Starters or whatever its called, which theres a video about here on C9.
It ships with alot of wallpapers, which even Ultimate doesnt even ship with, it seems.

1) Big border around Media Player/Photo Viewer thing.

2) Start Menu is 'Basic Style', icons on Media Player/Photo plus one tool bar thing is Aero.

3) Two Start buttons and quick launch things.

4) No system tray.

5) Media Player/Photo thing not shown in the task bar.

6) Task bar colours don't seem to match wallpaper.

It finds lightbulbs.
It's portrayed accurately in the pic, but those Dell keyboards are just wrong by nature.

One. How many time travellers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Yeah, that's the ugliest keyboard I've ever seen...
