So, I have a couple of long flights (plus all the fun you can have in airports lounges) waiting for me next week, and I decided that I might as well kick the Animal Crossing habit and get a couple of new DS Lite games.
I got Phoenix Wright, Phoenix Wright: Justice for all and Cooking Mama.
Did you play them? Did you like them? Will I be happy? ![]()

I only have the first Phoenix Wright. Despite hating the manga/anime/whatever art style with a passion, the game itself is pretty awesome, and perfect for long waits in airports.

Lots of people are raving about Puzzle Quest but it's hard to find around here. A buddy of mine had to drive down to Renton or something to find it for DS.
The Castlevania games for GBA and DS are just amazing. You can get Symphony of the Night for XBLA now if you want to see where they made the switch to RPG + Metroid style of game play. I have the first two GBA ones if you want to borrow them

Hrm... I may take you the offer...
I never had a portable game machine and I have AC, mario kart and super mario bros 3 (or something like that), but I'm not too "into" platform games. -
Forgeett bout it...
Bring your lappy and Flight Sim X.
Maybe you can impress the flight attendent. :O -

None of my laptops is actually capable to run any FS game
And I'd like to be able to play for more than 30 minutes... -
When is the new Zelda for the DS coming out? I'm waiting for that.

It's not worth it anyways. Playing a flight sim with the keyboard is painful, especially when you don't have a dedicated numpad, because you end up needing both the number pad and the keys it shares to control the game.
Unless you could find a small USB joystick or something... but as far as I can tell, those don't exist. -

Bad idea. The moment you crash your 747 on the laptop, someone'll notice & you'll be taken immediately to the back for a thourough cavity search. -
No, but I'm enjoying my Nintendogs. But you'll probably get strange looks when they hear you loudly shout "Puppy... puppy... come here... sit down.. puppy" (yes, my puppy is named puppy)PaoloM wrote:Did you play them? Did you like them? Will I be happy?

A wired Xbox 360 controller might work, though.
As for small joysticks, check out this miracle of technology: -
ha, that is awesome

Where can you get them from?? I want one!!

I bought mine (exactly the same one in the pic) many, many years ago on a PC convention. I used it on my Amstrad Mega PC, a combined Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and 25MHz 386 SX. So you can count back how long ago that is. So I don't think they're still available now, except perhaps on eBay.
I've also seen one once that was specifically for the numpad. It was a stick on a suction cup that was supposed to be stuck on the 5 key, and then four fingers extending from it would push the up, down, left and right keys when you tilted the stick in that direction. More elegant, but less sturdy.
