I've got the gunmetal grey P182B too but the Seasonic 650W PSU is what would make it a better "experience" because it helps keep it very quiet. My system was built to keep the noise down.

I've got an Antec TruePower Trio 650W in mine, and a Zalman CNPS9500 AT CPU cooler. It's not silent, but it's very quiet. And having it on the other side of my large wooden desk helps dampen the sound too.

"My video card gets a 5.9 and I see that 5.9 is the highest you can get (why not 6.0?)"

Because 6 is a sufficient grade but sadly the truth is that no hardware is sufficiently fast to run Vista properly so all you can get is a almost sufficient 5.9.

I'm on my very last life.
My "trusty" old HP D530 (Pentium-4) desktop finally died on me the other day, and I was in a rush to get back to work, so rustled up a bitsa from the parts bins... and then loaded Vista for the first time on my working desktop.

Overall - 4.0
---------------
Processor - 5.9
RAM- 5.9
Graphics - 4.2
Gaming Graphics - 4.0
Primary Hard Drive - 5.7

It's G45 based board, and gets along quite nicely.

As you might guess from those scores, I don't play games or hi-def video etc... but for what I do (web dev) I feel like I've just been dragged out of the stone-age... holy mother of... this thing is fast... LOL.

You know what's funny? Intel videocards performance is abysmal, yet they score higher than some dedicated videocards that kick the hell out of those IGPs. Those Intel videocards shouldn't deserve any score higher than 1.0.

Weirdly my score went up when I switched to 64 bit. Memory hopped up from 5.1 to 5.6. I don't understand that one bit!

Maybe more gigabytes of ram were recognized, or less memory was reserved by the videocard driver you installed.

Memory access in x64 .....  the system pulls larger chunks of ram per cpu cycle which means better performance in reading sequenatil blocks of ram. ?write is also the same i guess?

SSD is the way to go. I have 2 x OCZ Vertex in raid 0 and I get a 7.6 on Win 7 RTM.

Yeah i have a windows of all 5.9

msi 790fx-gd70

amd phenom II x4 965

nvidia geforce 8800gt 512 video card

Western Digital green 1tb Hard drive

and 8gb ocz 1333mhz ddr3

Velociraptor only gets a 5.9. Must need an SSD or a drive to break the 5.9 barrier.
