VS2008, WPF Designer

Does anyone know how to drag and drop items onto a window?  It wont let me drop anything onto the window.

I realize that this sounds like a really stupid question... but VS2008 wont let me drop controls onto the Window...

I had the same issue. I corrected it by deleting (renaming) C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VCSExpress and VSCommon in the same folder.
