On a scale of 1 to 10, people are stupid.
Wired had an article this month about just this scenario.  From FaceBooks point of view, however, the app that Scooby was running could have been harvesting personal information that it should not have.

It's very remeniscient of the time he let his underage son play in 2nd Life even after being told that it was against the rules.

1) hissy fit
2) apology
3) profit.

OK, so I’ve been released from my NDA. I was alpha testing an upcoming feature of Plaxo Pulse

Plaxo has just announced it is for sale.....

Scoble's a great advert for Plaxo: "Use our product and get banned off Facebook"

This whole episode has the mucus-like sheen of a pump-and-dump scam even if all of the players ARE legitimate.

aim stupidly high, expect to fail often.

Well, you could all join the "Keep Scoble off Facebook" group, if you really want to punish him.

I did, but I'll do anything that FakeSteve tells me to, as long as it doesn't cost me money.

If by yawn you mean facebook and by kids games you mean those useless timewasting facebook apps, then no.
