It does seem that Microsoft hasn’t been successful in closing off all the hacks that allow non-genuine copies of Vista SP1 to pass off as genuine ones.  After a few minutes of searching the darker corners of the Internet and a few seconds in the Command Prompt I was able to fool Windows into thinking that it was genuine, turning this:

One of those screenshots seems photoshopped. Notice the text, they dont seem anything like each other. One is really thing, the other is kinda bold.

I think this kind of thing is called herding. You get everyone migrate to using the new hack, and then close the gate on 'em... Wink

These articles are annoying, #1, the origional poster didn't input their own opinion, we all have rss feeds... and #2 this particular article, is anyone surprised, does anyone care? Channel9 is a sad sad place. A few topics are interesting, but it has gotten pretty sad lately.
