I can't get into Live Messenger, and hotmail.com and mail.live.com just doesn't load for me.

Anyone else?

I CAN has cheezburger and you CAN'T has stop me!

After 20 minutes of fiddling I finally saw this in my RSS...

MICROSOFT IS CRAP, LINUX IS TEH FUTURE, I'M NOT USING ANYTHING BUT GOOGOL FROM NOW ON!

etc etc

This is beyond a joke. Certainly not laughing any more.
There back! So stop with the panic attack ladies!

Not for me Sad

This page has been lying to me consistently.

c9 went down just then though, as did Microsoft.com/.co.uk

I want my .net messenger service back Sad

Maybe the Pakistani's have been trying to block things again.

I'm back on, sorry Linux & Google, maybe next time!

Mine's still down.

I wonder how it's even possible for Messenger to go down. Downtime is completely unacceptable, there should be load-balancing, multiple servers in clusters in server farms spread all over the world.

Charles et al: can you get a definite answer for "why?"

EDIT: I'm getting error messages about my UN/PW being incorrect, not that the service is down.

...are the authentication servers b0rked or something?

Up again Smiley It was only the sign-in service that was down. As long as I didn't log out I haven't had any issues.

If Blackberrys are addictive cellphones, Channel9 is the ultimate addictive website.
Down for me, too.

Messenger and Outlook Connector are all throwing up User/Pass errors for me Sad

Windows SDK coders do it without a .NET

Windows Update seems to be borked too. Just installed XP on Virtual PC and keep getting errors; it's not a general Internet connectivity issue, everything else there seems to be fine.
