Hello,
I was curious to see who all is going to Mix08. If anyone is interested in doing a C9 group activity (translation: get drinks) I would be up for that. I'll even bring C9 for some photo ops that we can post to C9 from the event.
Also, question for the Admins: I am going to try to do an Open Space at Mix. Is it okay for me to post a link on here to my blog where I am discussing what I plan on discussing at Mix if I get to do an Open Space? I really enjoy C9 and don't want to do any forum no-nos but thought it could be a good way to get the word out about the Open Space session.
Post back if you are going to Mix. I am SUPER excited about Mix. I have already driven my fiance crazy about going

You're not supposed to say "I am SUPER excited about Mix" you're supposed to say "I'm MIX-cited" (Marketing Phrase (c) Adam Kinney

I'm going and I'm sure there are others from here going (Eagle? LongZheng for starters) I gather that pretty much all the Channel 9 crew are going to be there with a big tent for HQ or somesuch. In the past those guys are so busy covering the event that it's down to us CoffeeHousers to organise ourselves to do something, but truth is I've got so much on this time around with so much going on even in the evenings I'm not sure I've got any time free (and what time I do have free will no doubt be spent trying to rush-edit video to publish on my web site).
Are you doing the "Bring Silver to Light" treasure hunt on the Tuesday evening before the main event kicks off? That's in teams of "up to 5" and it would be pretty cool to have a niners/CoffeeHouse team if we can find 5 of us doing it, and a very good way of hooking up, but alas registration closed on February 27th. If you didn't register it might be worth turning up at the Ballroom at Treasure Island 6pm anyway in case there are any no-shows (there often are).
Failing that email me if you want my cell and we'll try and hook up at some point, even if it's just for 5 minutes between sessions. Or just look out for me in the corridors. I'll be the guy wearing a white t-shirt with a red "Daily.Net" logo on it (every day - I'm taking four identical t's with me for gratuitous self-promotion) Most of the time I'll probably have a large, ugly video camera mounted on my shoulder.
It's just gone 2am here and I have to leave for the airport in less than 3 hours. Yikes!
