Just as soon as I click Post on this post I’ll be hopping in the car and heading to the airport for an house/apartment hunting trip to Seattle and this time have given myself a little more time in town than I did last time... and aside from the obvious of using my laptop and GPS for getting around... any suggestions as to what I absolutely have to see/do while in town?

I've already got an email into the 9 team so I'll be trying to stop by there tomorrow or Friday (shame I picked the same days to be out there as MIX)...

Any 9ers want to show me around a bit?

We were all superbusy (or at MIX, apparently)... Did anyone from Ch9 answered to your mail?

Go to the fish market up on the hill from downtown and watch them toss dinner around. You could get some smoked salmon to munch on there too. I don't remember what that area is called.
Last time I parked near the stadium downtown and walked uphill and back, music, etc., but nothing like it was 12 years ago... that's a long walk btw.

I always find what seafood is in season and look for a way to prepare it or have it prepared for me. I love seafood. Dungenous crabs are first rate when in season and the Alaskan scallops are super good on the grill.

I also got joy just looking at the trees and brooks up there in the springtime... so unique... and the air is so clear that you can see for miles with great resolution. It's a beautiful place.

Pike's Place Public Market.

I try to stop by every saturday for groceries at Delaurenti and coffee at Bottega Italiana. Smiley
