Make it so
The Hard Rock Memorabilia would be an incredible Silverlight 2 demo, but I cannot get it to work. I tried it on 2 machines (Vista SP1) with IE7 or Firefox, but I always get a ManagedRuntimeError #4002 after starting to zoom.

Anyone else having the same problems?

It finds lightbulbs.
I got it to work partially. I can see the images, and I can zoom in, but when I get really close, the control turns black and a script error appears in the status bar.

I wonder if there's any way to report this to the Silverlight team. I'm sure they'd like to see one of the 'incredible examples' to actually work properly. Tongue Out

By the way, On10 mentions that "One of the best kept secrets of Mix is that SeaDragon has been integrated into Silverlight." So.. this is now apparently a feature of Silverlight, which is great. Is there any place we can go to read more about this?

If you're interested in "Deep Zoom" I'd suggest checking out Mike Taulty's blog. He's been playing with it and trying to fill in some of the documentation gaps. http://mtaulty.com

I had it working for me at one point yesterday. When I first loaded it it didn't work, giving me the page but said "errors on page". When I tried it later it worked fine for me, haven't tried it lately though.

Okay, so I guess that's what I'm going to spend my weekend on. Thanks for the info!
Working fine here on IE8 on XP SP3.

aim stupidly high, expect to fail often.
I had to restart, but it worked. Probably something to do with 1.1alpha hanging around until after the reset.

Hi all,

This is likely an issue with the Silverlight 2.0 install process, which is also in beta form. I'm guessing that most of you have previously installed the Silverlight 1.1 Alpha. I HIGHLY recommend removing that first before installing Silverlight 2.0.

Also, we've found that a browser restart helps some operating systems (e.g. Windows XP), even though the installer only asks for a page refresh.

Please let us know if you continue to have issues. Thanks!
