Ok I know that very few people will either get, or agree with this post, but today was a monster day:

Ireland 12-16 Wales – Wales win the Triple Crown

Scotland 15-9 England – Scotland win the Calcutta Cup – BEATING England

Days don’t get better than this!

For those who have no Idea about what I am talking about – It’s the Rugby 6 Nations championships

O Flower of Scotland,
When will we see,
Your like again,
That fought and died for,
Your wee bit Hill and Glen,
And stood against him,
Proud Edward's Army,
And sent him homeward,
Tae think again.

Ok It wasn’t pretty, actually more trench warfare but when it comes down to slogging in the mud its the heart that wins it!

Lets hope Rory Lamont, who was knocked out by a flying knee, is Ok.

It is a seriously hard game!

Now time to drive behind the Welsh next week for the grand slam. Oh I wish I could say "I was there" if it happens.

Scots game was atrocious. England couldn’t get out of second phase play all game, made Scotland look good giving them and everybody else (Wales) in the competition stupid penalties. Congratulations to Wales for winning the Triple Crown. I can’t say it was of the best quality this year but its a title none the less. You missed out Barnsley beating Chelsea in the FA cup and Wilkinson breaking the record for most points kicked

I feel a little embarressed for you if you're getting your kicks out of beating England. Most home nation sides raise their game when they play us trying to take us down a level. You should get a new national anthem too, something with a little relevence in today's society.

So disappointing being Irish and watching that game. Thjey give it a good effort but weren't good, and then for O'Driscoll to get hurt at the end, I hope it isn't serious.

The scoreline wasn't even fair to wales, they deserved to win by far more to be honest.
