Well.

I never saw this coming, I guess Silverlight mobile is still a way off yet. Either that or they are waiting until WM has a decent browser - we'll see.

Human after all

I don't see why it shouldn't happen.. from the standpoint of mobile, they want as richer platform as they can give.. flash developers arent all going to throw their tools away to do silverlight.

For some reason I see Microsoft Silverlight has just installed Adobe Flash on your Mobile Device....for more information click or tap here.
i see Jobs saying flash lite sucks - then MS licencing it.  not sure what that means

It finds lightbulbs.

Some sort of war for mobile developer sympathy? iPhone SDK on one side, WM with Flash on the other?

I'm white because I smelt an onion.
Well, if they preloaded WM with just Silverlight, that would cause controversy wouldn't it?

Maybe they're planning on this scenario allowing a sort of side by side comparison between Flash and Silverlight.

Honestly that's the first thing I thought of when I saw this story; With Microsoft licensing Flash, Adobe really cant say that they're locking Flash out of WM and doing anything anti-competitive.
Isn't Flash Lite pretty much useless anyway?  I don't think its going to handle YouTube or anything like that.
