Have you ever noticed the winforms default icon (that with colored rectangles)? I think it is a Piet Mondrian´s (1872-1944) piece of art. Did you hear something about that?

IMHO not even close. The Windows Logo is a representation of a window with differently coloured glass panes, not a bunch of squares.
