IE 8: Developer Tool; Functionality or bug?

Seems to only work when im browsing C9 so far. I check out the Dev Tool go back to the site and notice multiple lines running across the sceen.

OP:  did you select any of the visual options like show tables, divs etc.... they would make the page do that sort of thing.

and it's a beta so it may be a beta bug.

Select the Outline menu in the toolbar and then click the Clear Outlines menu item.
