With me it's a full-time job.
Well... it won't quite be Live Mesh's Killer App and it's not a new idea as there's a popular Firefox Addin that it does it but what if....

IE8 came with 'Favorites' persistance, easily configured by any user and brought to you by LiveMeshTM . All delivered seamlessly out of the box when a punter installs IE8.

So the feature is 90% done already ... that's great. Just a bit of Apple style packaging is all that is needed.

Apple style packaging meaning:
- it's simple to use (harder than it sounds)
- it works out of the box
- jump up & down and make a fuss about the feature as if it was manna from heaven

And it looks good and just "feels good" to use.

If the only thing you need is sync, I've used Foldershare to keep updated favorites on all my machiens since the dawn of time (or something like that). Foldershare is dead easy to use and very performant, especially the current beta.

The really cool part about Live Mesh is the platform aspect. I have to take a serious look at the APIs (when they're published) and see what I can do with it Smiley

You're not talking about iTunes, right? Smiley
would Mesh have the 10/10000 limit that foldershare has? (libraries/files)
