Thanks for the links, i have been looking on Dell Outlet anyone had experience buying from there because there prices seem very low

I got this one, excellent cheap work laptop.

HP 6715b

The most important features - 1680x1050 resolution and 2 GB ram. It also has 160GB disk and 2 Ghz T-60 processor. Vista runs excellently on it (even with Aero), also haven't experienced any crash so far. Recommended. Big Smile

the HP dv6700t is cheap and has a T9300 CPU, 4gb of ram and a geforce 8400 but I don't know if you can find it in the UK. if you are looking for a desktop replacement there's the dv9700t that is cheaper and has a full hd screen but it's 17''.
