"Watch" doesn't work...but "Download" Does (Sort of)

I can't remember the last time I clicked "Watch" and got the front-page video to start playing in WMP. It always works inside the Silverlight app, but that thing won't go full screen, or detach from the browser, or anything - frustrates me.

I clicked download, and it opened up a new tab, with WMP embeded in the full space provided...it's now been loading forever...

Anybody else having simliar issues?

as of a few months ago i have not been able to go to the front page of channel nine with out my home machine freezing up. i mean the whole machine. i have to reboot by manualy pushing the power button. I have no idea what is doing it. the coffee house works fine though. wish i new what the deal was with the front page and my machine.

WTF...I was just watching the latest video on the front page in the silverlight player when I decided to write my first post...I just went back to try and watch again, and now it says I don't have the silverlight plugin...wtf man, I was just watching it!

update: Just downloaded silverlight, clicked "instal", and got the following message:

Unable to install Silverlight

Installation failed

Restarted Firefox, all is well again...strange.

Nevermind, spoke too soon, now I cannot click the play button on the silverlight player.

Trying to watch in IE now...."buffering 2% (5 seconds) 1%, (5 seconds) 3%, (5 seconds) 2%, (5 seconds) 5%, (5 seconds) 2%..." This day sucks...

I don't know what's causing your problems, but the Silverlight player will go full screen for me if I double click on the picture once it's playing. But I usually click on "Full Screen" to watch the videos in WMP.

Sounds like you're using IE - right? Ah, double-clicking does make it full screen in FF too...cool.
