MS will bundle a copy Parallels Desktop with the Expression Professional subscription, which will allow folk to run it on their Macs.

Not really earth-shattering news, but I wonder if this is how Microsoft intends to get around rewriting MS Office for the Mac?

'Rewrite it in Cocoa? No thanks Stevey-lad, we'll just bundle virtualisation software with the Windows version.'

Do you mean all the extra bits that aren't in Microsoft Office for Mac 2008?

I think he means in case Apple decides to abandon 32-bit support in Mac OS X, and therefore Carbon, sometime in the distant future.

Thats not supporting the Mac.

Its saying... hey you can run our apps but only if you use Windows in a VM.

That can be done in any OS.
