Just noticed the "Recent Blog Posts" section on the Niner profile page. Very cool.

would be great if you moused over someones avatar - the old email, and recent blog posts would flyout in a layer bubble
(as i doubt many will click peoples profile pics..daily..)

*remember the feature of adding blogging right into the profile? now that would have really cool

a developer blogging network right here on c9 .. with rating/polling. sigh

guess we'll have to wait for Long Zheng to do it

We had user popups in the original beta, but took it out because it bloated the page and had some bugs that we didn't have time to fix. That is still the intention, we just still haven't had time to implement them yet.

FYI, ratings are about 75% done in dev, so you'll see that at some point. As for blogging here...don't count on it. Smiley

It's "automagic". It just periodically goes out and gets the latest from the feed. The priority is based off of how many times your profile is hit. It's also possible it's broken at the moment. Thoughts, Duncan?

Not sure why that isn't updating, I can take a look. It is possible that our current method of processing blogs doesn't get through them all very quickly. It only does a few users at a time, and there are a lot more users on C9 than on C10 where this code was originally written for.
