Hey, thanks! Books always beat online tutorials for learning new stuff, IMHO, but it's a big step to buy an expensive book on the whim of hopefully finding it interesting enough to pursue. Free e-books are the perfect alternative.

If you need a datagrid for Silverlight check out Scott Morrisons blog. DevExpress already have a beautiful little Silverlight Datagrid that is free as well.
