It appears as though the Windows Not Walls campaign is supposed to be kicking off today.

Anyone have any idea where to see the ads / etc.?

I don't watch to much TV, so if Microsoft puts up a site with all the ads I'd like to see a link to it. That or youtube I guess.

My name has 9 letters. Coincidence? I think not...
Was that supposed to be funny? It wasn't. It was just weird.

Sven,

did you like Seinfeld's tv show?

Yeah. It was better than that ad.
I just saw that one on tv, and I had a good laugh.   It was kind of interesting that computers were only mentioned at the very end of it.  I am guessing that this was just an introduction to the "stars" of the campaign, and they will slowly ramp up the windows promotion in future ads.

WOOH! WOOH!
I had high hopes for this campaign. I thought Bill would make a great Dave Thomas. I didn't know they would let the folks who headed up the dino-office campaign head up this one, too.

Exactly like Seinfeld's very last episode.

They should be airing those: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/possibilities/products/default.aspx Smiley

Well, maybe they do, but I'm not in an English speaking region (sadly, I'd like it...) so I don't know.
That was very funny; I was choking on my water just now. Not really sure what it had to do with Windows though.

I don't know. I think it has potential, this one just didn't work all that well. I still think the Bill/Jerry interaction can work. We just need more self-deprecation and lovable Bill.

And it's still a hell of a lot better than a guy going 'wow' after seeing a moose walk past his house, followed by well-groomed corporate smugheads acting like Flip3D is the most amazing thing they've ever seen.

Wait, I totally missed the fact that they used his mugshot in there. That was unexpectedly amusing. God, I hope they use those sexy-man-on-desk pictures for a new ad.

In any case, however, this was my idea: Big Smile Big Smile

The Fact (only Italian)
It's supposed to be an introduction to the advertising campaign, not the entire thing.

To me, the whole advert seemed to be about being down to earth and in that being totally against apples.. why have an mp3 player when you can pay 4x as much for one thats shiny.. yet sits inside a protective cover (that you had to buy), which sits in your pocket..

Theres a definate need to make people so less materialistic in this world.. but god, thats so risky to me - you don't generally get people proud they buy the £10 mp3 player called the TURBO MUSIK XL... because who cares if it sits in your pocket and no one see's it right? .... hahahaha your parents cant afford an ipod, your poor!

(you get the idea).

Yeah, it's actually sort of growing on me. But that's probably because it's so surreal, and I'm a sucker for that kind of thing. I doubt if I'm the target audience, but still.

Also, who is that shoe salesman? He reminds me of someone.
