Does anyone know which book (title) Bill Gates was reading... "The fact that design uses inheritance and polymorphism doesn't make it good design"?

EDIT: FYI the quote if from Steve McConnell "Code Complete 2" section 18.2 - Table Driven Method

The fact that a design uses inheritance and polymorphism doesn’t make it a good design. The “rote object-oriented design” example described earlier would require as much code as a rote functional design…or more. That approach made the solution space more complicated, rather than less. The key design insight in this case is neither object-orientation nor functional orientation—but the use of a well-thought-out lookup table……..

They used to sell that stuff here: https://shop.ecompanystore.com/mseventdvd/MSD_Shop.asp

But now it seems they only have DVDs from past events. However, the links to the other products are still working:

(change the ID for more)

As for the ads, they are genius. They are doing the opposite of what Apple is doing - instead of spending every second of the ad bashing competition and praising their products, Microsoft's ads don't even mention any of their products, and so they are very comfortable to watch; you don't feel like they're feeding you products with a spoon. They put Apple in a bad light now, making them look like the greedy, evil company.
