Do, or do not. There is no try. - Yoda
I allready live on the bottom of the ocean on reclaimed land Wink

And artifically erected towns (opposed to 'natural' growing) have a tendancy to be soulless enviroments. Believe me I know, I live in one.
This sounds like a mediocre Dubai clone to me.

It finds lightbulbs.

2/3 of the world's population, huh? I'm assuming that consists primarily of the population of China and India, the vast majority of which probably can't afford a plane ticket to South Korea.

Actually, I'd prefer to live in a city thats very old, like maybe Dubrovnik or Bratislava.

I wish people would get over Dubai, its like the city version of a Las Vegas hotel. Big, loud, and tacky, full with gimmicks.

No, LOL, it is not loud at all. There are barely anyone living there. Just a big empty city. You don't see many people or cars in those local shots.

Anyway, it is good of them to have such organized project. Las Vegas is a big mass. There is no grid. They just build whatever on that SINGLE street and you drive as slow as walking on many occations. But I hope they don't over did it. The proper way is like New York or Macow (spelling), you have a grid system, and let the people build whatever they want. All government does should be construction approval. Or like Irvine, build my a monolopy LOL, but it is super clean and serene, fake and yet super nice.

loud i mean like a loud shirt, something designed to say 'look at me'. but yea im sure the city is better organized than the city of las vegas, i was comparing it to las vegas hotels, not the city though.

i'd hope people would get bored of islands shaped like a map, and towers that are tall, but not at all pretty, and move back to a city thats a bit more human.
