if anything I think 7s role should be to bring a bit more unification to the platform.. make developers proud to design an app that 'fits' windows.. os x is generally pretty consistent, and they make developers happy to make apps that fit in with all that.. of course theres a worry about a platform becoming stale if your only real input for change is the os builder.. meh I'm glad I don't have to develop windows.. its all very complex.

The problem is that in order to keep things compatible, there is no real incentive for developers to do anything. They'll just do a bit of testing, no doubt find that there software is Win7 compatible and sell it again with no real changes.

If you stumbled and fell down, it doesn't mean yet, that you're going in the wrong direction.
Thanks Gods! This world still has a chance!
At least some people understand me. Smiley

PS: "cheong"... Are you from Asia? Or just "eastern" nickname? Anyway, always thought people from "east" understand each other much better. Even if your nickname is just a nickname.
