I was searching for something else and found the home accessory pack which I'd never seen before, which led me on a trail of Zune goodness, I ended up installing the software, browsed the site and drooled over it all.

I'm Impressed, even if I am a little late to the party.

I tried a Zune the other day (a friend had imported one). It felt alright, but when compared to an iPod/iPhone it felt heavier, more blockier, and the UI wasn't as smooth or responsive.

Why would you want one when the iPod does so much?

I would buy one just so that I could be different from the iPod-toting crowd. I've done this before when I bought a Net MD Walkman (yeah, one of those things) and was severely disappointed, but the Zune actually has some compelling features.

Also, I've got an iPod at the moment and I really don't like the finger-sliding control mechanism.

I always found fashion odd for this reason.

I buy what is the best technology or best functionally. In this case, from what I've tried, the iPod. When I find something that does the same thing as good or better then I will reconsider but until then...

Also Microsoft has killed off one music service, I don't trust them not to do so again...

Fm Tuner & Zune pass mostly, although there is something I wanted to do when I first saw the iPod Touch and it occurred to me I could probably do it with XNA & a Zune.

I'm not dissing the iPod, I was just rather impressed with what I've seen of the Zune, admittidly I've never seen one in use so that might be a different story.
