Judging from the small screenshot we could see in the stream, holy ****!

It looks sexy. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

holy.. sh-t.. the extensibility and power of that is unbelievable.. using the mef to power this? genius!

I'm so excited right now, win7 looks great, .net 4 looks great.. vs2010 looks amazing..

Think I might hyperventilate..
Larry Osterman's post at engineering seven really makes me want to get a hold of Windows 7.

"In general, it’s been a total blast building 7. We’ve built some truly awesome features into the operating system and we’ve managed to keep the system remarkably stable during that entire process."

http://blogs.msdn.com/e7/archive/2008/10/15/engineering-7-a-view-from-the-bottom.aspx

Will there be a legit means of obtaining Windows 7 and Visual Studio 2010 for non PDC attendees?

I've obviously missed something - where can the rest of us see it?

And excuse my ignorance stevo, but what's the mef?

It finds lightbulbs.
When there are sessions where you can learn to use the MEF, I want them to call them "MEF-labs." And Krystof should call his blog "Krystof-Mef".

Do you guys now understand why I said that 7 is the coolest application from Microsoft Wink

Microsoft is rocking high! Btw... wonder if someone spots the project that I did - it's not part of 7 but a cool app that does sync... presented in the Lev Novik presentation Smiley

Obviously this warrants a certain amount of excitement. I fear that you will get your "keyboard monkey" developer, that will just moan about how things have changed, and how VS2005 was the best evah!

I do know that the features in team system about navigating an application that someone else has written for example, as a new recruit at a company, lend themselves very well to WPF, and the demos did look WPF'ish to me
