Only Proprietary software vendors deal in absolutes.
The time has come.  Tomorrow it comes down to two men.  Not Linus Torvalds and Bill Gates.  It comes down between John McCain and Barack Obama.  The two would be presidents of the United States.  So who is ready to lead?  Well lets take a look at their records.

Barack Obama: 2 years in senate

Not much of a record

John McCain: Multi Year  senator, military experience, key in several critical senate votes, friend of open source and technology.  He has served his country with honor and dignity, a true american hero and he puts his country first.  As John F. Kennedy said "Ask not what your country can do for you, what can YOU do for your country"

"Vote for Change" may be a change that you dont want.  If this country is attacked again and Obama is in the seat he has no experience and that will make the situation worse.

So my brothers in tech, dont use the part of your brain that made you choose Microsoft Windows over Mac or Linux.

Make the right choice.  Choose Honesty, Integrity, Experience.  Use your votes wisely and Vote McCain/Palin 2008.

I pray that God will give you all the wisdom and the steady hand at the voting booths tomorrow.

My wife commented last night that she doesn't like Palin because if you look into her eyes, you see the same look that Thatcher did towards the end of her reign:  outright megalomania!

No doubt about it... Sarah Palin is smokin' hott! I'm thinking of voting for her solely on that basis.

He's just used to choosing the losing side, both in operating systems, and in politics Smiley

Plus I think he's Canadian which makes this thread even that more useless as his others...

Now, now, I think it's great that young people want to get involved in politics. Personally, I think it's adorable.

Don't get me wrong I like McCain, but I think Obama gives a freshness like JFK did. And McCain does move around quite stiffly so his health is a concern which I think makes his VP choice a horrible one. Did you hear her phone convo with those Canadian prankters pretending to be the French President? She's one brick short of a load I think Smiley

Are you some kind of viral ad for the democrats, because just listening to your whinging on C9 and then coming out in favour of McCain actually damages his campaign for me simply by association.

Corona just thinks that comming out in favour of McCain will produce the most disruption (probably thinks most 9ers are Obama fans).

It finds lightbulbs.
And look, it's working.
Explain how Obama is "fresh" other than the fact it is the image his campaign is trying to propagate.  Does freshness negate the fact that the man's only significant accomplishment is writing a book about himself?  He's just a lawyer pretending that he is capable of an executive position with no leadership experience.   In reality all he is going to do is rubber stamp everything that comes across his desk from Pelosi.  We're going to get a left-leaning government with new taxes coming at the worst possible time, unconstitional legislation like the return of the ridiculous "fairness doctrine" and "card check" legislation, and likely a weakened ability to respond to international threats.
The funniest comment ever - a right wing supporter of 'not for profit' software!

Corona, you are one really confused guy, and even here from Australia I know enough about American politics to know if you are looking for a supporter of Microsoft (large enterprise) you are definately going to want to vote for Mc Cain.

What exactly are you? A neo-conservitive-solicialist?

Haha... you are getting funnier every time I check back here!

edit - wasnt actually replying to the named person in the 'In reply' section...
