I just installed IE 8 Beta.

How do i get the history to work in the URL pull down bar? currently it only shows my url home page.

thats primaraly how i find sites i have already been to. i dont generaly use favorets. i use the url pull down menu.

From memory... this is a beta issue, and the workaround requires you to enable autocomplete for WebAddresses

Yeah, the Url dropdown is buggy as Hell. Sometimes it takes 10 clicks for it to spread open. The contents of the Url dropdown probably haven't gone through any code-efficiency work I think.

Internet Options -> Content -> AutoComplete [Settings] -> Use AutoComplete for [x] Web Addresses

Clearly not the intended function for the URL history to show, but seems to be the only way to do it right now.
