If you stumbled and fell down, it doesn't mean yet, that you're going in the wrong direction.
I mean plastic models of cars, planes, tanks etc.
Is the any "simulator".

PS: Don't think my idea is something new... If so... call me. I want to try to be involved in such project.

To be honest, I'm not even sure what you mean.

I know what model kits are (I used to build them myself) but I have no idea what a PC game about them would look like. What would you do in the game?

I too enjoyed building models (although I rarely painted them because I suck at it).

I guess I don't see the fun in doing it on a computer. Kind of like digital puzzle games that simulate putting together a real life puzzle board, they just aren't that fun and it doesn't really nail what you get from doing a puzzle in real life.

Sounds like you just need to buy yourself a new kit and some glue... You'll feel a lot better Big Smile

PS - The local model shop sold this kit that was literally an entire north sea oil platform. It was huge and one of the most complex kits I have ever seen even since then. But it was like £100 back in the day and as a kid you cannot afford such expensive toys. Really cool though. The only model kid I'd want more than those are a few of the Babylon 5 ones Smiley

Thanks God there was no LEGO in USSR!!! We were free! With LEGO you can try to make anything, but result is already printed on box.

Sacrilige. Burn the heretic, etc. I had quite a lot of Lego as a kid (99% of which was handed down) and pretty much no boxes or instructions and it was awesome.

These days I have even more Lego and lots of instructions, I'm just running out of shelves to put things on.....
I remember getting LEGO sets for Christmas as a kid. I would put the set together once usually on Christmas day then I would have to dissemble it to put it away. The next time I would play with my LEGOS I would usually take some more of the set apart to add pieces to my own designs. Eventually the set would be mixed into my own creations and the original being long gone I would only build the box design around once per set.

Then you grow up, have kids, and you can play with the Lego and HotWheels you buy them =)
This might not be exactly what you are looking for, but it certainly is an awesome simulator of plastic toys that are simulating real things:

Endless hours of fun indeed...
