Your idea is certainly interesting, Jaz!

How about another series... Great Unsolved Problems
State an unsolved problem and solicit creative solutions

Possible problems:
* How can a table cell inherit styles from both a column container and a row container, when DOM is a tree?
* How can SMTP sender verification work across mailing lists and automatic forwarding?
* How can Task Manager tell when a task is stuck in an infinite loop, as opposed to just doing something that takes a long time?
* How can you verify that there's a real human interfacing with your software, without making them perform some trivial but demeaning task?

We'll cover Javascript and VBscript too for all you web devs out there.

Cool. As a sysadmin, VBScript is my spiritual home...

Maurits, this is an interesting idea. Remember that C9 is YOUR community so feel more than free to spin up a new series on your own. It's as easy as prefacing the first post's title with something like Great Unsolved Problems: HTML Table Style Inheritance.

You can make it happen!

Small. Fast. Embeddable.

How about doing some IT stuff as well such as quizzing us on what actions we should take in specific crises? Perhaps have like a separate activity in addition to Spot The Bug? That would be fun Smiley
