Do any games support it or will this feature be dropped in Windows 8 when Microsoft realizes game devs are dumb and haven't realized even Vista is out yet?

What's wrong with activation? You only have to do it once and it will be saved along with PC backup. I didn't do it on beta because I am just too lazy and I don't make PC backup on any beta install LOL.
