1)Flash does not work. No Hulu, no Netflix, no nothing.
2)Gmail looks like a 3rd grader tried to draw my inbox.

Think I will give the powers that be sometime to get major websites in line. Not ready for primetime. I blame the work arounds everyone is using. Hope for epic fail so hopefully some browser that works better FF or Chrome don't care which can lead us to the promise land:) Where web developers don't have to get it to work in IE and then all other browsers. Or vice versa depending on your world view.

1) Why blame IE and not Flash? In any event, it works for me, so you have an isolated issue.
2) Not really helpful. What theme? What's wrong? Gmail looks fine for me... as in it looks the same whether it's in IE 8 or Chrome.

Flash works fine for me in IE 8.
Google Mail works fine in IE 8 for me.

I have to agree, that IE8 displays the Gmail inbox poorly, it displays with all buttons stacked vertically closely upon one another. I don't know how to submit a comment or suggestion through IE8 so I'm posting here.

Btw, youtube works fine, hulu works fine, haven't tried netflix.

Well, IE8 RC1, which is old now I am sure, makes gmail look pretty crappy.

The recent 7048 leak build of 7 has an IE8 that works perfectly in gmail though, shame I am forced to use outdated versions Sad

IE (all versions, including 8) has issues when it comes to right-to-left layouts. These things "just work" in other browsers, except Firefox 2, which also sucks when it comes to RTL layout.
