I am not able to play Netflix movie DVDs on my Windows 7 Beta at all.
It looks like the DVD is damaged.

But, I boot back into Windows Vista (yes I have dual boot) and play the DVD.
It works fine without a problem.

Is anyone experiencing the same problem as me?
It looks like something changed with the way Windows 7 read DVD discs? maybe???

I have played quite a few Netflix movies in Win 7 without a problem.  I usually play them through media center (not sure if that makes a difference).  The only thing I could think of was that you have something installed on Win7 that you don't on Vista that is interfering with DVD playback.
I don't think the DVD codec is installed on the beta, probably for licensing reasons. You will probably need to install a third party codec.
Do you have an NVidia video solution?  If so, you might want to check Windows Update to see if there's an optional driver update available (one was deployed yesterday).

That fixed DVD playback on my home machine (it turned out to be a strange issue with my Dell 2001FP monitor).

I noticed that the drivers that come from Windows Update tend not to be as stable as the ones directly from the source.  I had to update my video and sound card drivers before everything worked smoothly.  NVidia actually had Win 7 drivers but I had to use the Vista drivers for the sound card (Creative).  The Vista drivers seem to work fine for Win 7.
