Always a step ahead in stupidity.
They are neat and entertaining, some of them don't really look like they're advertising a PMP device at all, but still give out an artistic impression...

E.g. - sharing:

Others are more direct and try to depict the "feel of music":
Some of them don't even present the device at all, just the brand name:

But here's the third, the most direct category - expressing elegance and quality of the Zune device itself (I don't think it's even been aired):

Question: Which category appeals to you the most? Should the Zune ads focus on a completely unrelated topic, linking to the Zune device or brand only on the last 2 seconds of the ad, or should Microsoft be more direct when advertising their music player? Maybe a combination of the two is in order - pleasing the passionate music listeners and those who have the latest Crazy Frog album on their iPhone...?

A penny for your thoughts on this one? Smiley

Only when trust is earnt can sex and free discounts be exchanged.

Arty ones (feel of music), Sub Pop - Rogue Wave and Shins backing tracks, nice. For a 30-40 second advert you just want the audience attention, not a list of hardware capabilities. "Zune - music, video, pictures, sharing, Ninja dish washer game".

ha - had to open this in new window to see - ad blocker blocked the c9 post!

love rogue wave and shins
