American CBS (CBS) web BNET's commercial media analysis article published today, said, Microsoft can make use of the breakdown of negotiations between IBM and Sun's acquisition of Sun machines with IBM to better in the "cloud computing" the field of competition.

Think even though a lot of reports, IBM and Sun for the breakdown of the talks between the Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, and other basic equipment manufacturers would be a major opportunity to take the opportunity that they can pocket the income will be Sun. However, such a software company Microsoft, it is the same against a rare opportunity for IBM.

Obviously, Sun's acquisition of the solicitation will be rejected by IBM shame. However, due to take what we need from both sides, so that they may have in hand again. On the one hand, Sun eager to find buyers in order to maintain operations. IBM and Sun would like to borrow to buy have been better to deal with Cisco to enter the server market.

In addition, IBM also in the "cloud computing" the area of confrontation with Microsoft. At present, the entire IT industry are towards the "cloud" infrastructure development, not only the Amazon and one of the active participation of Google, Sun, IBM and Microsoft is also an advocate of this trend. In this way, companies do not need to install the software at the data center on its own, and only needed to purchase services.

Prior to that the IBM acquisition, there may be a threat to Sun, Microsoft's "cloud computing" strategy. Today, IBM and Sun as the talks broke down, Microsoft can negotiate with the Sun, on the one hand, access to "cloud computing" platform for the necessary hardware, on the other hand, can also obtain the Java programming language, in addition, The most important is that Microsoft can also access to the development of OpenOffice suite.

Have OpenOffice, Microsoft can provide users with an open source version of Office, to develop proprietary software to those excluded from the government and educational institutions. As for the sales based on the "cloud" of the SharePoint collaboration suite can also be helpful, so that Microsoft can be a further blow to IBM's Lotus Notes. Sun and those quite innovative for Microsoft Engineer can bring new vitality.

Earlier this year, Microsoft CEO Steve - Ballmer (Steve Ballmer) has said that the company will use economic hardship to seek the transaction. Sun in the IBM acquisition were not disclosed prior to the news, Sun's share price is less than 5 U.S. dollars, so for Microsoft, this should be a good trade.

Ballmer and Microsoft can take a number of waves stirred up. Prior to that, he failed to acquire Yahoo and Facebook, and DoubleClick have been the first to buy Google. In addition, Microsoft's board of directors of the company's share price seems to be rather subdued and tired. Of course, Microsoft's acquisition of Sun will face regulatory barriers, but may be much smaller than the acquisition of Yahoo, and IBM to acquire than the risk faced by Sun is not worth mentioning.

However, Microsoft and Sun Products or the need to address some of the questions overlap. Both sides have a database, virtualization software, programming languages and other products. However, in most cases, these products can coexist. And the two sides after the merger, the user can also enjoy better service

Before C# there was darkness...
Other than to save Sun and another competitor, I don't see how Sun makes sense for MS.  It makes more sense for IBM because it is a hw company that also has *nix properties.  Microsoft does neither and they don't need anything Sun may have made for cload because they have there own open protocol Azure going full steam.  MS is not going to use sun boxes in the datacenter either unless they can run NT and have some kind of value over HP, Dell, and IBM.   Any combo of Novel, IBM and Sun would seem to make more sense.

Are you C&Ping these posts from a newswire or something?

it sure does read like the poster is graabing text from some news site....
I wonder .....

I dunno, the grammar is so poor I just gave up with it.

Looks like a non-English news site that was run through Google Translator and then posted here without even reading it first.

possibly a test?  the poster wants to see if we can parse the grammer ?

like "this looks like english but can anyone read it ?"

to the OP: sorry but the posts are not in a normal tone and syntax and grammer that most folks use... we are having a hard time working out what you are trying to say, perhaps try smaller, just one question or statement and perhaps write it as a question like:

do you think that "question goes here ............  "
is a good idea ?

Ah man, don't copy paste such things.

If you have an interesting article, post a link, post your opinion and watch the discussion take place.

I have a really big aversion for large blobs of text.

Oookkkk.... I see.

well as I guess you can tell now that was not a great idea.

yeah,  Hey it's ok to not have super skills in writing in english here, and shorter is better compared to that monster post.

think of it like this, say you speak mandarin, say I am just learning and I walk up to you and start a long speech with a bad acent and grammer and I do not pause to give you a chance to ask a question .....  in a way that is what the post was like, we saw words, we saw some broken grammer. but it was all like a great gob of sticky stuff -- not inviting to work with.

please take that in a joking / humor way...

writing emails, blog posts and on sites like this is not always easy for anyone.  we are having a chat but with a huge time delay between each reply.  That makes it hard for example if we talk face to face you can see if I am smiling Smiley  or fowning Sad  or shocked 8-0
and face to face you can hear the tone of my voice (soft, loud, slow, fast)

but on a posting site we lose all the little cues and only get the text of the post.
Spot on.

No-one minds if English isn't your first language, but don't copy and past the articles; a link and a few lines of commentary will do the trick.

Heh,

I grew up in a town in California with all kinds of folks, I have worked with / been next door to just about every nationality
Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Cambodian, I was rasied by my great aunt and uncle, he was from the philipnes.
and then there have been folks from India, Pakistan, Lebanon, Kuaite (sp?) and well all over...

I cringe when I see the bad biased "white amarican red-neck" kinds of reactions to folks from around the world.
heck who is an "American" anyway?  it's not where you came from, it's the country you are in, and that is made up of immigrants from all over the world.
