VB2K8 and SQL2K8 Express edition - Installation help

Hy;

Previously I have installed vb2k8 (without sp1) and sql2k5, both express edition. Now I was trying to install the sql2k8 express edition, and in the system check... it tells

- SQL Express 2005 Tools are installed, please uninstall for continuing SQL 2008 Express edition      - FAILED
- Previous version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 is installed, upgrade to VS 2008 SP 1.                    - FAILED

and SQL2K8 setup could not continue further.

I uninstalled  sql2k5, and re-run the test... now, passed. I tried to download the SP 1 from here http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/, when that .exe file runs its tells "it is not compatible with Express edition".... so i uninstalled vb2k8 also.

I tried to re-run the test, now both items are passed. and SQL2k8 installed successfully.

Now, I can't install back vb2k8, it is asking for SP 1 version. But service pack says its not compatible... So how to install 2008 series of express tools or just vb2k8 for now? and where can I find the SP for Express edition 2008?
