See the attached image, can I remove the older versions of MSXML or do I need all of them?
Thanks guys!

I can't see the image yet (it says it is pending), but generally versions of MSXML after 3.0 are installed side-by-side. They use different ProgIDs and CLSIDs (the version-independent ones are no longer used after 3.0), and removing them will break any applications that depend on those versions.

Ok, thanks.
The image was just a screenshot of several versions in my "Programs and Features" dialogue.

As usual, the recommendation is:
if you do not know *exactly* what something does, leave it alone

yeah,
I was more wandering if it was like Sun's broken Java updater that never removes old versions.
