My office at home isn't much but it's functional and comfortable ...

... but I love the view from my window. I took this just before a thunder-storm because the light and atmosphere was amazing (pitty about the telephone cable - but I didn't want to cheat and edit the picture)

I feel I am very lucky to live in the country-side.

It's a WASD pad for playing FPS games.

Why would you need a nuclear missle to blow up the UK? Isn't it cheaper to just let Gordon Brown continue?

Oh... For some odd reason the first time I looked at the picture it looked like it had a large LED display in the middle (the red arrow keys). I'm just blind.

Also, three 9guys sabot? ./jealous

You've got a printer?

Unless you're a humanities student, I never really saw the point in getting your own printer (especially when our uni gives us free printer usage and when all submissions are done electronically).

At home we moved to a colour laser and saved a few hundred in ink costs over the past 3 years.

I do so little printing I don't really notice the cost.

Anyway the printer was a freeby dad got with a computer at work so it didn't cost us anything to get nd given the reliability of the printer in our halls cluster room it's probably a good thing I have one. Plus it saves me the walk to the cluster room.

AFTER  (no smoking in office anymore)

I once had to take a smoking hotel room while traveling... and OMG... The yellowish walls... the constant smell radiation...

So... yeah... no smoking near computers...

All this talk of smoking... be right back... haha

PS... Posted (chrome) from Win7 desktop... I'm taking the plunge...

And before anyone comments on the really cheap graphics tablet next to the system - it's fine for what I need - (roughly) drawing molecules, I don't need anything fancy or accurate (it also makes a fun alternative way to interface with the PC when you set the drivers to tablet PC mode). (And I swap its position with the mouse mat when I'm using it).

Thats the first time I've checked out photosynth, and I like it a lot. Seems like Silverlights Deep Zoom composer, with the 3D stuff added in.

I also always enjoy look at peoples bookshelves and what they enjoy reading, more that what computer a person uses
