Windows 7 and the start menu

Well, I ran into a funny issue. I don't really know what's causing it, so I can't really resolve it either.
Have a look: http://www.dynamicsnetwork.net/Files/wamp-win7_smi_cbr800k_hi.wmv

It's still usable with the search and all, but since the search only finds files and shortcuts, it won't find a Program called "My Program" if it's in the start menue like "My Program"\start program. It would find it if I'm searching for start program, but not when I'm searching for "My Program".

Does anyone know what makes my programs disappear in the all programs view? (No, it's not edited)

Very weird. Are the shortcuts in %user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs ?
