Richard Feynman: The Messenger Series.  A must-see of any of you with a passion for science, in particular physics.

Never gets beyond "Preparing Content..." for me, in both FF3.5 and IE8.

Maybe the site hosting the video is down? This forum's site has been pretty flakey this morning, though I don't know if the two sites have any connection.

Just Coding for Fun...

No connection... and our flakyness seems isolated to just us. I don't have an explanation of why but I have an event log full of certification configuration errors related to Live ID and when those happened several of our nodes just refused to serve up C9. I'm definitely looking into it though...

Fenyman FTW though!

It works for me in a VirtualPC, but not in my physical PC.  Fails in IE and FireFox v3.0.11 and v3.5.  Stupid Silverlight!  Grrr!!!

In chapter 12 of lecture 6 Feynman talks about uncertainty being intrinsic in nature.  I have to admit, I do not understand this.

Welcome Change

Absolutely stellar. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

The player is outstanding. The stuff happening inside of it is simply beautiful. Wow.

Welcome Change

It was shot in the early sixties by BBC television, in black and white...

I still can't view it. Left it at the "Preparing content" stage for a good few minutes and the progress bar didn't even begin to fill in. Sad

"I was inspired by the remarks in these books; not by the parts in which everything was proved and demonstrated carefully and calculated, because I couldn't understand those very well. At the young age what I could understand were the remarks about the fact that this doesn't make any sense," - Richard P Feynman Nobel Lecture

Maybe there is some hope.Big Smile

No Silver Bullet

Have you had a beta of SL3 installed? That could be the problem. You might uninstall Silverlight then revisit the site just to make sure you have the right bits.

No beta, FWIW. I've only installed the SL versions/updates which come automatically, AFAIK.

The page goes to a "Runtime error" server-side error message at the moment. Maybe got overloaded as the videos seemed to be pretty popular.
