I can't think of how his hair/antennae would look from that angle. Does anyone have a photo of him taken from that position?

No, that's just someone good with Photoshop.

Incidentally, this is what happens when you punch Nineguy in the face:

Ouch.

Well, it is a very believable Photoshop! Well done, whoever you are!

It's a good photoshop, yes, but the simplistic shadows give it away.

A work of yours, dentaku?

I'm surprised that radome is kept in such good condition considering the cold war ended 20 years ago.

Very cool. I printed this out and posted to our team wall.  Here's a question for you all:

I was only able to print it out at 11 x 17 (which is the largest paper size the colour printer in this building will use). Anyone know of an application that creates multiple images from a large original (say 48" wide) so the user can then print the pictue out using multiple sheets of paper?

Make sense?

Acrobat lets you scale up PDFs to print on multiple sheets (File > Print > Page Scaling > Tile Large Pages).

Nice. I don't have Acrobat. Smiley Any other software that does this?

You're kidding if you can't grab a copy of Acrobat from the central software repository on Corpnet Tongue Out

In the meanwhile, use this.

Speaking of secret projects. What about Beckmans secret project which would supposedly ship before the Rx framework. There was an earlier interview with Beckman where he mentions a time-travelling debugger in a previous project. Maybe that was the project since we now have that in VS2010. Presumably these two projects will ship simultatenously although maybe shipping means being first to publicly beta a feature. What say you?

Paint (on XP/Vista or 7) can do it:  open the image file in Paint, open page setup and tell it how many pages to fit the image to.  Note that it maintains aspect ratio no matter how many pages you tell it to use, and that it scales images up if they're not big enough (and scales them down if they're too big).

ps - dont listen to w3bbo ( just this once)  it fooled me!  good work!

It fooled you?

I thought it was real, seriously; I just googled around for "spread photo over multiple pages" and that popped up, I hadn't actually tried it.

What happens?

no idea... but that top pic looked real to me.  i say - good work Smiley

* ok maybe a bit darker shadows on the head - but kemon!

It finds lightbulbs.

Rasterbater (that w3bbo mentioned) is pretty great. Last time I tried it it only did black and white, but it's pretty awesome, you can make gigantic, wall-sized printouts with it.

Haha. that would be awesome. Imagine C9 HQ were really located in such a building Big Smile

Microsoft Publisher is probably the best tool i've seen for doing this.
